Great Glen is a large village seated in a valley just six miles from Leicester, with a brook and a Norman church, St Cuthbert’s has a square tower and five bells. Wigston Framework Knitters Museum exhibits costumes, textiles and a 17th Century house, including a workshop and frames used to make stockings and gloves.
