Meopham is a pleasant village positioned on the slopes of the North Downs, in the garden county of Kent, and is home to just over nine thousand people. The village is said to be the longest in Kent and dates back across the centuries as far as the Stone Age, there's a delightful 14th Century church, and an impressive windmill built in 1801 that overlooks the village green which has played host to cricket matches since the 18th Century. Todays visitor can enjoy the good choice of restuarants, shops and pubs or there is always the beautiful countryside close by.
