Theydon Bois is a quiet village on the edge of Epping Forest in the county of Essex, and is home to nearly four thousand people. The village dates back into history to the Middle Ages when only a few people lived here. This award winning village is surrounded by green countryside and was a favourite haunt by Highwaymen in the forest nearby, today's visitors will no longer find Highwaymen but they will uncover interesting shops, restaurants and a pub dating back centuries. There's a delightful Village Green, and for those who wish to explore further, then hop on the Tube that stops in the village that's famed for not having street lighting
