Latest reviews | Events in Croyde Bay
Croyde Bay is a wide sandy beach that curves like a sweep of an arm in Devon, it’s loved by Surfers for the challenging waves and deliciously warm waters. Separated from the pretty village peppered with thatched cottages by sand dunes only adds to the magic. The Surf Schools, and specialist shops enhance the exciting Bohemian atmosphere. Walkers choose the Heritage Coastline path that leads to Baggy Point, although they may have to step over the Artists who try to capture the magic, whilst Cyclists enjoy the Tarka Trail. Step inside for a fascinating insight into Gems, Rocks and Shells from all over the world at the Gem and Rock Museum which has intriguing examples to share….. Fishy tails are told through fascinating exhibits at the Ilfracombe Aquarium which showcases species found in north Devon. Or maybe the thought of meeting snakes, otters, cheetahs, and wallaby’s will tempt a visit to Exmoor Zoo, or how about Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park with animated Dinosaurs, Museum, rides, and even a chance to swim with the Sea Lions… For something different there is the Big Sheep Family Entertainment Park with live shows, craft shop, Sheep Races and even outdoor Laser Games….
