Long Crendon is an unspoilt and attractive village situated in the beautiful Aylesbury Vale, on the Buckinghamshire and Oxon borders, home to nearly two and as half thousand people. This charming village dates back to Saxon times and has a wealth of Medieval buildings lining the High Street, and an impressive 15th Century half timbered Courthouse, there is also an ancient Coaching Inn, and a splendid 14th Century church that's dedicated to St Mary. The village was renowned for it's delicate fine Lace making, and needle production in the 17th Century, and perhaps more recently for the Midsummer Murders television production.
