Latest reviews | Events in Albrighton
Albrighton lies in the picturesque countryside of Shropshire and is convenient for access to Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury and Telford. It can trace its history back to the 6th century whilst its church, St Cuthbert’s offers clues to its foundation back in the 12th century. Albrighton takes full advantage of its location, this is where there is a world famous rose garden centre set up business and today their gardens contain over 700 different varieties and indeed includes a garden that is devoted entirely to English roses. There is also the Albrighton Moat and Gardens run by the Albrighton Trust for the enjoyment of both residents and visitors. For those who work in the urban environs of nearby Wolverhampton or elsewhere and who yearn for the fresh air and countryside then Albrighton is a much appreciated oasis of rural life that can be appreciated at leisure.
