Born 1960 St Andrews, Jamaica - English athlete, Olympic gold medallist.




Made international debut for Great Britain in 1980. Won silver medal at 1988 Soeul Olympics and gold medal in 1990 Commonwealth Games. In 1992 Barcelona Olympics he lead the men’s team and won the 100 metres gold medal. Awarded MBE in 1998.
