An English actress who made her name as the shop treasurer Carole in the sit-com The Rag-Trade (1961-62). Further television included Mr Digby, Darling (1969) and Dangerous Lady (1995). Films include Doctor in Love (1960) and 3 Men and a Little lady (1990). Theatre work includes The Anniversary (1966). She was married to the actor John Thaw.
