Percy Nunn
- Favourite Briton.

Born in Bristol, Bristol
Born in 1870
Died in 1944

Unlike some educational theorists Percy Nunn had a depth of experience in the front line, teaching at schools in Halifax and London before joining what was then The London Day Training College. As its director he helped it evolve in 1932 into the Institute of Education of the University of London. Nunn’s publications and drive as a leader in the field were directed towards the child centred view of education. He was knighted in 1930.
