Born 1826. Died 1865 - English boxer.

Bricklayer before becoming a boxer. English heavyweight champion in 1857 though only weighted 11 stone. Named the Napoleon of the Prize Ring. Lost only one fight during his career. Last fight was declared a draw after 42 rounds.
