NEW FAMILY FUN EVENT IN SHREWSBURY FEATURES EXCITING ENTERTAINMENT & CORONATION STREET STAR

Visitors to Shropshire Summer Show at Shrewsbury Showground can look forward to great entertainment and plenty of attractions to amuse all ages, plus a special appearance from a Coronation Street celebrity guest.

The exciting fun each day will include amazing aerobatic displays overhead plus a variety of arena entertainment. The unbelievable ‘Zero Gravity’ freestyle trials bike team feature Chris Doney – one of the worlds leading freestyle riders and the winner of numerous British, European and World titles. The ‘Zero Gravity’ routine includes balancing skills, tricks and stunts including outrageous backflips!

Visitors will be enthralled by the UK’s first ‘Owl Agility Display’. The Berkley Owls team have trained several species of wise owls to show off their skills over an obstacle course as well as their amazing abilities in the air during this informative and lively demonstration. Visitors can also meet the owls on display at the event whilst the team give educational talks.

Incredible strongman Adrian Smith competed in the Worlds Strongest Man tournament and won the title ‘UK’s Strongest Man’ 3 times. As ‘The Mighty Smith’, Adrian presents a fun family show with humour and audience participation, including bending 6 inch nails with his teeth, walking on broken glass and holding a seated lady and chair in his teeth! Adrian welcomes volunteers and also provides prizes for participating children.

Shropshire Summer Show will also feature a traditional funfair, a craft fair, trade stands, river trips on the ‘Sabrina Boat’ and much more. Entry also includes admission to the UK Summer Motorhome Show.

Adult tickets to Shropshire Summer Show are £6 each on the gate, or just £5 each in advance, plus Kids Go Free! (accompanied under 14’s). Advance tickets are available from the official website at www.shropshiresummershow.co.uk . Car parking is free and gates are open from 9am to 5pm each day.
