we visited after reading about the place in a magazine. As we love both the new forest and lavender this seemed the ideal combination. the day we went the weather was perfect, the lavender was flowering, the butterflies were out. the cream tea and the lavender sponge were the best I have eaten for along time, if ever. the vegetable plot was brimming with fruit and vegetables, my fingers were itching to help myself. we could have sat there all day. the family were very friendly, and part of the charm is that it is a family run enterprise and not commercial. I hope they continue to stay the same in the future. we will be back, and have been telling all our friends.

Just to back up what my girlfriend said in the previous review, this place really is lovely. The whole layout, the way they have finished everything its just so professional. It deserves to do well as its clearly a family run business and they've put their hearts and souls into it. I recommend the cream tea, unbelievable. And on a bright sunny day there was nothing better than sitting on the deck looking over the lavender with out tea and scones. They also welcome dogs as long as they are on a lead.

We stumbled upon this beautiful garden yesterday - you really have to visit. Everything detail has been finished perfectly. We were really after a cream tea and weren't disappointed! Cute hear shaped scones with amazing cream and jam. Then the owner went up and down the lines of lavender plants and cut me a beautiful fresh bunch. We also bought some lovely fresh vegetables. Looking forward to our next visit!

We were some of their first customers and it was obvious that this is a family enterprise. Although some of the infastruture is still a work in progress, we were impressed with the level of knowledge of the owners. The tea room had a selection of homemade cakes and the nursery deserves every success. The layout is very attractive. Well done to the family concerned. Hope you do well, you all deserve to.
