Calderfields Golf club has changed hands and the difference is remarkable.
The new owners have put a considerable investment into the club and great effort to develop the club in all areas.
The new name is Calderfields Golf and Country Club. The facilities are first class and the course is superb. I congratulate the new owners on a tremendous job well done.

I had heard good things about this course and was therefore looking forward to playing.
The course is absolutely shocking. It is by far the worst course that I have played on in my 20 years of playing golf.
The condition of the tees, fairway, rough and greens were diabolical. Having to dodge trespassing kids stealing balls, was not enjoyable.
The green fee of 20.00 for a round of golf, is, in my opinion, way too much for this course. In my opinion, in the present state, 5.00 would be nearer the mark.
The course has huge potential, and if the greenkeepers were not like ghosts, and actually cared for the course, it would be an enjoyable, yet easy parkland course.
All in all, I would rather jab a very blunt spoon into my eye, that is how much I enjoyed the course today !!!
