Both enchanting and charming Groombridge is precisely the kind of attraction that I , for one, wish there were more of. Our drive deep in to the lush Kent countryside got us in the mood and with the sun beaming down we just knew we were in for a good day. The house and Grounds looked lovely in the early stages of Autumn but my 3 year old was particularly enthralled with our solitary walk around the Enchanted Forest. We got there early (and I strongly advise that you do too) and literally had the place to ourselves. This was another world from the one in which we live and left us full of disappointment when we had to leave. Definitely the sort of place you are happy to pay to enter
