I was sorry to read in the Hawick News on-line that David Gaylor's is to close down after so many years. I was born in Hawick and my uncle Harry Campbell (now deceased) used to take me into David Gaylor's as a wee boy to buy photgraphic equipment and materiels. As a result of my uncle's interest in photography, which he encouraged in me, I became up a professional photographer for over 35 years. I bought my first ever photgraphic enlarger at your store. I now live in Essex. Very best wishes for your future.
