Good Points: The hotel was really well situated for our needs and close to public transport making it easy to get about. The bed was comfortable and the bedding warm. Although there was a busy road nearby, we could not hear the traffic. Bad Points: The sink in the bathroom smelled unpleasantly of drains and we had to keep the plug in when it was not in use. The provision of a shower hat would have been useful. The carpets in the hallways need to be replaced as they are uneven and appear to be coming unstuck....we felt this was quite dangerous. There were facilities to make a drink in our room but only two pots of milk were provided each day and although we were given some delicious shortbread bicuits on the day of arrival, these were never replaced once eaten..... considering the cost of a room per night we felt that this was very mean. General review: We had a good weekend and the hotel was well placed for getting into London as there are some excellent transport links nearby. The facilities in our room were adequate.
