Lovely village and location .. very friendly staff ... BUT .. we were EXTREMELY disappointed to be allocated a room, booked in advance for £95, that we could hardly move around in! Lots of small problems such as impossible to fill kettle from sink tap, windows frosted glass, could have been anywhere, no room for suitcases, no full length mirror. We were really surprised to be billed the full amount so mentioned our disappointment and were given a small discount when we left. The manager was not available at that time but thought we might have been contacted about our concerns. We were amazed to be told it was not the smallest room, we should have asked to see it! As our daughter has just moved to the area we were looking for accommodation we could use on a regular basis, we are afraid the Bat and Ball will not meet our modest needs.

Do not stay at this hotel - the rooms are in dire need of renovation and almost spoiled a wonderful evening at Le Manoir aux Quatre Saisons.
