this was our first camping trip and we had an absolutely wonderfull time. The campsite is absolutely out of this world and also very well priced in comparison to others. Not a single detail was missing. CAmpfires are allowed which allows you to sit outside on cold evenings. The childrens play area is old worldy and great fun, the small mountains on the site are great for kids to have fun. Showerblocks, toilets etc allways clean, even though it rained heavy in the morning causing a bit of mud. An great advantage is that the ravenglass railway stops on camp allowing you to travel around without haveing to use your car, great!!!! The drive over the wynose and hardknott pass is breathtaking and not to be missed. Dont think twice!!!
