I am amazed at what I have read in the previous review. We go regularly to this Caravan Park and have always enjoyed it. I have never seen the ground 'muddy' and if it is remotely in poor condition the owners would not put anybody on that area. The site is well looked after and we have met many people there who like us have enjoyed their stay on this park and who regularly return once or twice each year.We enjoy the peace of the park and its position for getting into other areas of Lincolnshire, Norfolk and Cambridgeshire. I would certainly recommend this park to anyone wanting to visit this area.

Excellent camp-site for caravans, and friendly owners. Very clean, good facilities. Unfortunately, owners have never camped so no experience of siting a tent. We were told to pitch tent over recent campers which meant muddy, down-trodden site - there was plenty of room elsewhere on the field. The A17 traffic noise was more apparent where we were. It was greatly reduced at the other end of the field. The owners had erected a very bright light overhead - we had to buy eye-masks to reduce the light at night. After two nights camping it was obvious to us they were not fully booked so we asked to move tent. This caused great consternation with the owners - they were sticking to a plan which could not be altered! Our daughter (20) joined us for the bank holiday in her own very small tent. We expected to pitch her next to us - the owners stipulated a minimum distance of 6 metres between our tents, quoting Health and Safety!! Arguing for the health and safety of a woman camping alone away from the family tent went unheeded. I later read in a Caravanning and Camping book that 6 metres is usual for space between Caravan and Tent, not between tents. Overall we enjoyed out time on the Fens sightseeing, walking, relaxing away from the site, but we would certainly not return to Delph Bank and would not recommend it to friends- too regimented!
