I would just like to highly recommend this gem of a restaurant to all readers of this site. Having lived in the area for a while, I feel I have finally found a place to eat which combines the standards of food and service of a London establishment with the warmth (and prices) or a country restaurant. James and Louise along with their charming waitering and bar staff made my evening unforgettable.

It is very diffucult when looking for a good restaurant to know which is going to the best, even when taking advice. But we were not disappointed with the George Inn. A warm friendly atmosphere greeted us along with a great sense of humour from Louise our host. This was matched with superb service and excellent menu well cooked and delicious food, not to mention the organic beef, absolutely great. It was an occasion to remember and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody. Well done and thankyou to the George we will return soon. And many thanks for the sweet wine a very kind thought.
