This really is a lovely boutique hotel. The furnishings, whilst not lavish, are fashionably minimalist and well thought out. Walking on the carpets was like floating on air. The place is well maintained and spotlessly clean throughout, and the two owners are very friendly and helpful even offering my father-in-law an upgraded room on the first floor at no extra cost because he found it difficult climbing to the second floor. Breakfast was delightful, we chose the full English, it was hot, freshly cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. Highly recommended in spite of the weather letting down our short stay.
