Always first call in M&S Chester, the Cafe. What a pleasure it is to go there, even when they are very busy, which is most of the time my hubby and I are regulars and we would not go anywhere else for our mid afternoon snack. I think that M&S pick the best people possible to work for them in all departments, but wow we feel so welcome in the cafe. All the staff are friendly polite and make you welcome and also assist you in choosing what snack you are going to have. Well done M&S and all there staff in Chester.

My wife and I visited your Chester branch today. Our first call was the cafe where we were pleased to say that the staff were most obliging. Next naturaly was the WC. where a lady staff member was checking the state of them. They were a credit to her. Moving on to the ladies coat and skirt dept my wife saw a coat and skirt on display which she rather fancied but we were unable to find where they were stored. We asked a lady assistant where we could locate them and she took us to the correct place and asked if we required any further help.We purchased both items When we went to pay for some groceries the gentleman on the till was great. It quite made our day 2 Woodside Drive Sandbach CW11 4JP

I purchased a pack of M&S Sport cushioned socks £10 which should have been a pack of five. On opening up the pack, I found only 4 prs. The packaging was not damaged nor was it obvious that there was a pair missing, so no fault on the sales women at the till. But it is possible a thief in the store is working a single pair from several packs and replacing then on the sales stands. I realise that it is an enormous task to check the packs, there were litterally thousands on display, But you should be advised in case you get other complaints. Who ever it is must feel confident so a special watch by the store detectives or internal camaras might catch them out. Thank you. P.S the socks are great by the way.
