Hellaby Hall Hotel is one of those places you go to and wonder why you had never visited before. From the smart gravel drive and smart courtyard and grand building, approaching the hotels entrance you begin to feel the warmth and privilege of being a guest at such a unique and lovely hotel. Hidden away in the heart of South Yorkshire. The foyer, oak panelled and very welcoming, has enough space for guest to lounge and relax as well as for new arrivals. The facilities are second to none and match almost any you can get in any hotel I've stayed at before. Guest had free use of the dedicated Gym, pool and sauna in Health Spa located in the Hotel's courtyard. The restaurant was large and smart, with reasonable opening hours for breakfast, lunch and dinner/supper. It had a fantastic menu, with great food and the restaurant leads down some steps and opens unto the well kept garden. There were tables where guests could have their food and drinks brought to them. The staff were always kind and friendly. Hellaby Hall felt like being in heaven.
