We visited mafundi crafts' website last month upon recomendation from a collegue at work.
I am new to shopping for hand made/fair trade items but had a present to buy for my Niece and was very happy to have visited the website.
I ordered 4 items-3 of which arrived in very good time and was over the moon with what I received. The 4th item was out of stock and some one from mafundi crafts phoned me up the very same day as I placed the initial order to say that it would be sent seperately a few days later, so a big thumbs up for customer service as well.
I have just shopped with them again (using my 10% off code-thank you mafundi!)bought an African 'djembe' from Ghana, this time for my self, and I look forward to shopping with them in the future.

Well we didnt exactly visit as it is my understanding that Mafundi Crafts operate as an 'ecommerce' instead of a bricks and morter business, but we did visit a fair trade event at our local church in Bath. The event was at Saint Saviours church in larkhall where mafundi crafts had a stall. The choice was wonderful. There were lots of hand made 'goodies' and musical instruments. The grandchildren will love the small djembe drums that we bought for Christmas. The stall holder was most helpful and the owner Sean, was knowledgable about the products and the manner in which they were traded. I am fairly new to internet shopping as I do remain a bit of a cynic but I will certainly be visiting their website to give it a whirl!
