My husband and I have just returned from what was probably the most wonderful and relaxing break we have ever experienced at Moccas Court. This place is so exclusive and unique; as soon as we approached the gates we knew we were in for a very special experience! No sooner had we parked the car than we were welcomed firstly by Zulu, the friendly family Labrador, and then by Ben who eagerly and enthusiastically introduced us to his lovely, tranquil family home. One of the first things to strike me was the wonderful architecture of the hall and staircase, which was both imposing and cosy at the same time. Our room was magnificent; everything was just perfect from the homely touches of luxury toiletries and fresh flowers in the room to views that were impossible to tear one’s eyes away from. All the rooms downstairs were lovingly restored yet homely and welcoming. And I haven’t even mentioned the food yet! Ben goes out of his way to cook you the food he instinctively knows you would like … and what a wonderful chef! Meals are slow and relaxed. Not just a meal but, in the magical surroundings of the dining room, a whole experience. We have eaten in many great restaurants but have never eaten better than at Moccas Court. By the end of the stay, we felt as if we were leaving old friends, so relaxed we had Ben and Mimi made us feel the whole time we had been there. We made sure we booked our next stay before leaving! Once word gets around about this magical corner of Hereford, I can’t imagine Moccas Court ever not being filled with discerning and appreciative guests. Everyone can be assured a memorable stay at Moccas Court.
