What a fantastic welcome.... 4 of us came down off the Ridgeway in a storm, soaked through our wet gear to the skin, muddy and relieved to arrive at our B'n'B. We offered to change in the porch but no-way. They invited us in as we were, gave us a backroom to change in and let us dry our gear in the breakfast room where they turned the heating right up for us. Oh yeh, food good, beer lovely, looks oldy worldy, rooms OK, beer lovely, hospitality outstanding!

Lovely pub with very friendly staff. However the room could of done with a good clean and a handy man to fix it up! Things like dead light bulbs and shower taps (if you could call it a shower!)that were not actually fixed on. Badly in need of updating. Breakfast tasted like it was microwaved and the orange juice was off. Even the tablecloths needed pressing.Such a shame as the place has a lot of potential and the people so nice. Did not have a chance to have a meal so i cannot comment on the food. Would love to stay there again when the rooms have been renovated.

We stayed for one night, the accomodation was of a good standard. We were made to feel very welcome by the hotel owners and the food was of a high standard in the pub area. I would highly recommend this hotel.
