I got stranded in East Ilsley due to some real bad weather conditions so came across The Swan by pure coincidence. Had the warmest welcome ever and have been looked after by Richard & Kim (the owners) + their staff in the best way. Room was really nice, very clean, comfortable bed, fabulous shower and bath. Food was very reasonable priced and of good quality. Even though I didn't stay there by choice, I did thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will come back under better weather conditions to enjoy it even more. Can certainly recommend this place to all. East Ilsley is a lovely little village as well and the surroundings are gorgeous and the locals are very friendly (+ helpful!!!).

What a lovely little pub this is. It has a great atmosphere and serves the best food. We stayed one night here on our recent visit to the UK and were very comfortable. The staff are friendly and made us feel most welcome. Pity there aren't more places like this to entice us back.
