The villagers of Dinton have bought and saved this pub/restaurant and it is under new management. I went with a party of six, and after only one month open was impressed with the lovely pub and good food. Recommended.

We had a fantastic meal at the Seven Stars, run by new owners Kevin & Jenny. Kevin is the chef & Jenny is the front of house. The food is freshly cooked, served in generous portions, the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, the bar serves a selection of ales. The Seven Star Pub is a very quaint historic & grade II listed building against the backdrop of Dinton a village which has been used as film location for Midsomer Murders. Highly Recommended!

Had the most amazing starters which we all had garlic mushrooms. Then came main gammon egg chips, steak & ale pie new potatos and seasonal veg, Duck in red wine new potatos and seasonal veg.
Both starters and main were both amazing portions. Would reconmend to everyone, the new people have only been their for four weeks and were very friendly. Will be visiting again soon. Thank you for a lovely meal and evening.

We were so impressed with the changes at one of our favourite pubs this week.we Stopped in to have lunch and enjoyed it very much.
We stopped visiting sometime back as the prices were more than we could afford. Now a delicous hot luch for as little as £4.00. A warm and friendly welcome by the couple that have taken over they both took the time to talk to ask and we wish them well with all their plans of a darts team, and a day at the races good luck and see you soon.

We visited the Seven Stars this evening and discovered it has been taken over by a young Couple. A warm atmosphere and a lovely welcome by Liam and Katie nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We enjoyed a very tasty meal and the luxury of not being rushed out after finishing. Thank you so much we will recommend to our friends and hope you make a success of this delightful Village Inn.

We cannot comment on the current fare as we have yet to sample it. However we had rated this as one of our favourite gastro pubs in the area. Food was always fresh, tasty and beautifully presented - desserts were literally a work of art and the ale was great. It was therefore a bitter blow to find Chris and business partner Michelle(?) had to fold a month ago. Does anybody know who chef was and where he/she went? In the meantime we wish all concerned well.

I took my mum to celebrate her birthday.
Do not be fooled by the modest menu in this beautiful old English Pub.
The food is nothing short of exquisite. We were blown away by their Shepherds Pie. Not only was it truly tasty but the presentation was nothing short of incredible and the prices very reasonable. And the desserts are positively wicked!
With friendly service and warm atmosphere this has just become my favourite local restaurant.

The new management have spent a fortune refurbishing what was a run down pub. It serves excellent real ale, well prepared imaginative fresh food and it is based in a pretty Bucks village.
You would be well advised to pay a visit.
ps. I don’t have any business interest in this place.
