I visited the Fox and Hounds today as a guest and was appauled at the Landlords behavior. When we walked in at 1.45pm the pub was busy and within minutes our little Jack Russell dog which was on a lead was attacked by another Jack Russell that was in the pub and not on a tight lead. It went straight for my dogs neck and my wife had no option to use her bare foot to seperate the dog to stop severe harm happening. The Landlord told us to leave immediately. I ran a pub for many years and this is not the way to treat a new customer. He should have apologised for the incident and tried to amend matters. Naturally I will never go there again and will certainly not recommend the pub to anyone. Sad as the Pub itself looked nice.

Albeit only a one-night stay, we thoroughly enjoyed our night at the Fox & Hounds. Well worth travelling 'off the beaten track'to find this delightful pub. Everything just as we like it, friendly, helpful staff and a spotless comfortable room. Lunchtime meal was very good and excellent value for money. Beer well kept and locals friendly. Good nights sleep in a very comfortable bed, nice and quiet no traffic noise from the road outside. Excellent full english breakfast the following morning set us up for the day. We would both recommend the Fox & Hounds to anyone contemplating a stay in this delightful part of the English countyside. We travelled 160 miles from The Black Country, (Stourbridge) and look forward to going back at sometime in the future. Thanks Alex, good luck & best wishes for the future. Alan & Pauline.
