This pub turns into a Thai restaurant on Mondays. Complete with Thai waitresses and chefs. The food is always lovely and the staff polite.

We were asked if we had booked when told no we were told to sit down. No one came to give us a menu so after 10 mins of just sitting we went up to the bar and took a menu, this states clearly to go up to the bar and give the number of your order, there were no vegetarian options mentioned. After waiting whilst 2 people ignored us we were just about to leave when someone behind the bar said oh are you waiting I thought the other person was seeing to you. We asked for a vegetarian option and food was ordered. We were given the bottle of wine and glasses and soft drink to take to the table. The food was mediocre very dissapointing. The pudding was inedible, at no point did we feel welcome, we left a tip but no one thanked us. Lovely old English pub but food wise very poor. We will definitley never go back or recommend it.
