I'm afraid I cannot give this establishment a very good review. After visiting the Kings Head on boxing Day with my family I feel I must comment on the meal we received.
There wasn't any bread with the prawn cocktail or enough with the pate.
There was blood sitting in the roast beef, which had to be taken back to the kitchen & cooked more for us.
There was hardly any gravy with the roast beef, sausage & mash or chicken meals, when we requested more, we were brought a small cream jug full to share between 8 of us which had a burnt taste and spoilt most of the meals.
There wasn't any green vegetables to be seen.
As I do not like to make a fuss in public, I paid & left without any of the 12 seated having a dessert.
I sent this letter directly to the Kings Head & haven't as yet had a reply.
