Part of my family is from Caunton - though they're all gone now, and we stopped there to look around. Decided to have lunch here.
The food, service and atmosphere were wonderful.
We ate in the pub, rather than the restaurant portion of the place. I had pigeon, supposedly local, and it was cooked well and tasted delicious. Presentation was simple but very nice. My companions had sandwiches which were also tasty.
Prices were reasonable (for an American tourist).
