The atmosphere in the pub is very friendly, and the landlord Frank O'Neill goes out of his way to make sure all his customers feel welcome. The food is second to none because Chef James is a consumate professional and every dish is freshly made. The Specials Board changes daily, with some unusual dishes, and they will always try to accommodate any requests for food. I would recommend this pub highly.

Have visited this pub on 2 separate occasions and had exactly the same response from the landlord both times, who on 2 occasions ignored my order of a drink to take one from his beloved local bar flies... not reccomended for outsiders or young people it may appear.not a happy customer and bad news spreads fast so i hope this review is published somewhere for all to see. very dissapointing indeed.

We came to the pub in a fairly large group for a friends leaving doo and was very satisfied with the food and the staff. The pub has a very nice atmosphere within and all the locals were very friendly.
