We had been regulars to the restaurant for at least 3 years when we decided on a change about 2 years ago. Four of us decided to go back in June 2006. We were amazed that the so-called restaurant (room in apub) was still empty of guests and that the price had been hiked to £27.50 for a 2 course meal. We should have realised the problem at this stage. IT WAS NOT WORTH THE MONEY. WHEN WE COMMENTED ON IT WE HAD A VERY FROSTY RECEPTION AND THE WHOLE SITUATION MADE WORSE BY A MANAGER WHO COULDN'T MAKE DECISIONS. My melody of fish main meal was no more than a fish soup with 2 king prawns on the top, no vegetables were served and out other friends were as much disgusted as my wife and I. No tip given.
