Absolutley first class! A very knowledgable bar man, who certainly knew his beers! We were shown to our table, after drinks in the bar, and enjoyed 3 courses of some of the best food we have had in a long time! The staff are all very friendly and professional, and was amazed that during the floods they were closed! They worked very hard to open as soon as possible. Highyly recommended!

We dined today with a family party of six, table booked at 1.00. It was fairly busy but certainly not crowded. I was nearly put off by an earlier review from Oct 06 but I am SO glad we ignored it as the food and service were excellent. They have recently recovered from the local floods but there was absolutely no evidence of that today! We had the added bonus of the two meals for one offer on weekday lunchtimes (excl Fridays I think). Good value and Very highly recommended.

i visited the Bulls Head, Wootten Wawen on 15-5-2007 along with my wife and friends from Swindon. we arrived at about 12.30 and found the pub was fairly quiet (although it filled up later). We ate in the bar area and had very good service from staff right from ordering the first drinks and throughout our meal. The food was outstanding, every bit as good as it's sister pub (The Duck on the Pond at Long Itchington) waiting time for each course was satisfactory. We left just after 3pm having had a very pleasant time with our friends, in a totally unrushed atmosphere

I visited The Bulls Head today with my family after a two year gap. (We had a very bad experience when we visited with friends staying with us over Christmas two years previous). We thought we would give in another go hoping things might have improved. Sadly not. Service was atrocious, neither waitress had any idea of their trade. The first waitress forgot to give us our menus. After fifteen minutes and two requests we received them. She had no idea what soft drinks were stocked behind the bar. We waited a further fifteen minutes before another waitress with appalling customer service skills arrived to take our order. She too had little knowledge of the menu. After waiting a further ten minutes and still no drinks, we gave up and walked out. This pub will certainly not be given another chance by us, and we would never ever recommend it. I should add, this all occurred at around 4pm and the restaurant was quiet. Heaven forbid if it had been a busy day!!
