This used to be a great food location but the quality of the food has slipped significantly over the last two years. The pub still has a really nice feel to it and is one of the best around. This pub used to buy all its meat from a really good butcher and it showed, on a recent visit with my children I was shocked when their kids sausage and chips arrived, the sausages where those nasty iceland style nasties thrown into the deep fat fryer. The old chef/owner would not have served this. As mentioned earlier, still a good pub in an otherwise lacking area, food as per Weatherspoons.
