Fantastic location and decor. Staff were very friendly which made up for service being a little slow. Ate of set menu which was excellent value -seafood salad and then venison casserole for £12.50! Portions were NOT small - in fact my wife failed to finish hers because there was so much if it. Food was tasty, well cooked and well presented. This is not pre packaged, re-heated pub fodder but really is a step above.Big plus for us also was that they allow dogs in the bar area so we didn't have to tie him up outside in the driving rain!

Expensive, smallest portions I've ever seen, avoid.

Booked Sunday lunch. Arrived at 12.30 left at 3pm. Service was very slow and the staff were unhurried.Understaffed? Starters pepper soup ok - bread portion very skimpy, seafood cocktail - good. Main course- beef- very rare- okay if meat is good quality- this wasn't. We should have complained but didn't. Flounder was outstanding, beautifully cooked and fresh but with carrots. cabbage and broccoli and a dab of sauce?Sweet - excellent - but had to wait half an hour for it.Chef needs to look at combinations on menu. This is NOT a cheap place to eat and we expected far better after having read the Independent review of The Swan being one of the top gastro pubs.Perhaps this pub is resting on its laurels? The Castle for us from now on.

Visited Little haen now for many years, and this year we tried the swan. Staff were courteous and very helpful, ambience was very nice, and the seats well spaced and dressed,The menu was small and just the right amount of choice. The food however was a bit of a let down. The salting of the main meals was a real shame as the rib of pembs beef and the ham, would have really stood out on their own for their fabulous flavour without the sauce (jus) poured over being drowned in salt. It was a real shame. The crab starter was also by contrast very bland with little flavour or seasoning. We both made this comment to the staff who were pleased to have feedback, but I feel that the chef really needs to start tasting what he cooks or perhaps get a better chef??? as the menu itself and the location are absolutely perfect. However, I would say that the mussels in white wine were fantastic.....they were just perfect. Wine list was also good

Have known this pub for years but hadn't visited the restaurant since the refurbishment. The food and interor decor was excellent and they obviously have a great chef however the service was atrocious. We had been warned about this but decided to risk it. The prices are expensive and we would have expected much better service. A few examples, main courses arrived before starter plates cleared, red wine freezing cold, bread did not appear until after we have started eating, after waiting a considererable amount of time after giving dessert choice we gave up and asked for the bill. Very disappointing and no excuse as the restaurant was not anywhere near full. We spend a great deal of time here and sadly others are saying the same . We shall stick to the Nest, The Castle and St Brides in future.

Went to the Swan on a friend’s recommendation but was disappointed. Arrived before food was being served so decided to head down to the beach for a walk before returning. The lady at the bar assured us that we would be fine to turn up at 6pm to eat. When we returned the same member of staff let us order a round of drinks before informing us that the restaurant was fully booked and that “there might be a food shortage anyway”.
Wouldn’t have been so discontented if the staff had’ve been friendlier and informed us of this when we first arrived. Generally bad service and won’t be returning in a hurry.

Visited with my colleagues for Xmas Lunch and had a superb meal.Restaurant standard food at pub prices. We found the service attentive and friendly. Really Christmasy with log fires and traditional decorations. We'll all be back.

Lunchtime, I seated my wife at a table in the ajoining room by the window, ensuring it didn't have a reserved plate like the other one. While waiting over 10 minutes at the bar to order (the 2 girls here really imcompentent), a elderly 'local' couple came in. I heard him say 'lets sit by the window' and next thing, my wife was turfed out of the table on the pretext it was reserved. Disgusted with the bar service, the darkness of the interior and now this, we went across to the Castle Pub across the road - quick service, lovely lunch at half the price.

Went to the Swan for lunch today but never again. The portion sizes were to say the least, tiny, and the quality of the cooking was a disappointment and that is before we consider the cost!!

We decieded to try the swan restaurant in littlehaven pembrokeshire , the food was fantastic and the place was very welcoming as well as the staff and landlord being very friendly, this pub is a credit to pembrokeshire and a credit to little haven , where you can eat from both a fantastic menu and drink from a well thought out wine list. The other pubs in the village serve good bar snacks, but for that special occasion the swan must be very highly recommended.

Recently had a fantastic meal at the newley reopened Swann Inn.
Although not cheap the quaility of produce and presentation was of the highest standard.
Children eat at half price off the menu, an excellent idea and one to tempt them into trying more sophisticated choices.
Highly recommended.
