I have never met a more unhelpfull owner in all my Caravaning holidays.I have visited this site for years and the old owner Alan was very friendly and helpfull. All the new owners have done is remove the pet handling and fill the site with static caravans. And the pitch charges are now far to high.

Having just returned from Penrose I was really glad to get back home!!! Had I known before my holiday what it was going to be like I would DEFINATELY NOT have driven for 7 and a half hours to spend a week there!! The owner was not at all friendly upon arrival after we took a wrong turn not wanting to block the entrance and exit. Other staff however, were very friendly and always had time to be pleasant. There were only 3 male showers which werent even very warm for 100 or so pitches which I find absolutely appalling considering they have won awards for their facilities!! We paid for a "fully serviced" pitch which meant the "hardstanding" was actually gravel and not even a tv connection point!!.All in all NOT a site I would visit again and NOT an experience I would EVER like to repeat!!
