An excellently located site for touring Warwickshire and Leicestershire. The site is quite flat with 2/3 of the site very flat and very grassy with the remaining 1/3 furrowed although the owner levels a part each year. There are several hardstandings for motorhomes The toilet blocks were very clean but you needed 20p for a hot shower but this was for a reasonable time. The shop prices were very reasonable and had a reasonable stock and is licenced. AS with most private sites ther is less regimentation about where you put your tent and this can lead to little encompments. Many regulars use the site as it has a fishing pond at £2.50 a rod per day which seemmed very popular. The site stores caravans and these seemed to ne rolled out at regular intervals especially for weekend use. There is a shop and pub(soon to be two) in Wolvey and plenty of other shops and take away places nearby. We stayed a fortnight and enjoyed the friendliness of the owners and visiting the surrounding area.

This caravan park is well located for touring the Midlands. The toilet blocks are well kept except when the manager is away, at this time standards drop a little. The field is full of bumps all along its length, dating back from ancient times and these cannot be flattened. The pitches are not marked so some caravans and tents can be a little to close for comfort during peak times. There are also a lot of contractor workers using the site using older caravans. OK for a stop over.
