Lol the store may seem good on the outside but in reality is rotten to the core, overworked staff which are NEVER praised for good work just regularly disiplined for mistakes. i have even been told by my manager not to help customers because it takes up time, just stick too the job im paid to do!! so much for every little helps!! managers are being pressured and as a result alot of staff are being bullied there, i have worked for many companies/stores in the retail industry in the past but none so bad as this store, lack of staff trust and not enough time to give customers the level of service they deserve make this a very unprofessional store....

I love this store, their newish shopfit is great, it's the best tesco I have been to, maybe because it has everything because it's so big. I think the staff are lovely, I have never had any problems and I'm there nearly every day buying bits, so forgettful! It can be annoying when staff tell you what till to go to, they try and get people who only have a few things to use the self serve, which isn't a problem but they are only trying to help you, who wants to be waiting behind somebody with loads of stuff?! I have noticed quite often they have fancy dress on, which sometimes is bizzar however they look as if they're having fun so it's cool! There was once a REALLLY friendly boy working on checkouts, i wish i took his name because he was the most lovely person I've ever met, bless him! I LOVE THIS TESCO

I spend a good portion of my time in Tesco and I must say that while the staff are often polite and competant I'm disgusted by the securitys lack of efforts in keeping out the many elderly and lower class people who seem to only bring the atmosphere down with their annoying children and chit chat while they take up space in the ailes and abuse the otherwise very pleasent staff members with their irrelevant lack of knowledge. I would like to see security address this issue in future

Good Points: Lovely room, friendly owners, wonderful cooked breakfast. Close to central Bowness which gave us a good base for our weekend. General review: A friendly establishment, very close to local amenities, we were able to park our car safely and leave it there all weekend. We had a thoroughly enjoyable weekend and would recommend Elim House to other couples in need of a weekend away from it all.

Good to see some improvements going on. However! I visit the store on a regular basis with my Mother-In-Law who is disabled. Parking is VERY DISAPOINTING - Why do parent and child spaces have to be so close to the store??? I apreciate they need a bit more space to unload their prams etc. But they ARE able to walk from the car to the store!!! My M-I-L doesn't have a diabled badge for fun! I know we are becoming a lazy culture and can't be bothered to walk a short distance (of which my M-I-L would if she could) So Come on Tesco. Think about you regular loyal customers.

we have visited at least twice a year for the past 5 years, and become very good friends of Judith and Steve. The rooms are immaculate, very clean and comfortable. They are a wonderful friendly couple who will do anything to suit your needs. Steve' breakfast's are superb and the food will fill you for hours. Cannot recommend the B & B enough, we visited August and will be there again in November.

We had a really lovely time. The room was great and so was the hospitality and food. Have already recommended it and will continue to do so should anyone we know intend to visit the Lake District. Booked from the website and we were wary of doing so but were not at all disapointed. Thank you Judith and Steve. Have some lovely photos of the room and the house which I would like to e-mail to you. Please advise e-mail address. Kind regards, Bea & Jim Mullan.

he people were friendly and helpfull.,"The accomodation is clean and the food is great. The people at the accomodation were both helpful in suggesting places to visit and friendly in their manner. There are parking spaces available and the accomodation is within easy walking distance of most ameneties. We will be staying at Elim House again, when next we visit the area."
