Very impressed with the friendly, welcoming atmosphere and the quality of the food. The salmon in particular was delicious and can be highly recommended. We stayed overnight in a lovely double room. Overall a very pleasant stay.

I enjoyed a very pleasant evening at the Rose and Crown sitting by the fire. The food was delicious and the pub has a wonderfully relaxing and welcoming feel. The sort of place that I would feel comfortable visiting alone, just to sit and have a quiet drink or with friends for a great night out. A real credit to those who run the establishment. And in a lovely country setting

After a morning spent walking in the Weaver Hills we had a very pleasant lunch at the Rose & Crown. A good selection of meals were available from my wife's sandwich to my own salmon fillet (delicious). A good stop-off for walkers (although sadly our dog had to stay outside).
