This is a weekend event which, weather permitting, sees the balloons up early morning and again in the evening. Along with the balloons there is a wide variety of other events and displays. I personally saw the falconry display, the Drakes of hazard, and vintage car display. Along side these events there was a fantastic range of stalls some of which were local handcrafted goods at great prices. There was also lots for the kids to do. The events all take place in the park and are all FREE. So go on and visit while supporting this fantastic event. The festival this year is 28-30th August 2009.
