I normally shop at your store, but have been very frustrated lately at being unable to find certain items. I have been unable to find Schweppes Slimline Tonic Water (500ml)for the last two weeks, because the shelves are full of Tesco's own brand and all larger bottles. I eventually visited Sainsbury's today where I could purchase the above, and also made other purchases whilst there. Might I suggest that you will lose customers if you gain a reputation for unreliability. Also, you regularly run special offers on Aero Chocolate mousses, presumably to persuade customers to try them. We like these very much but once the special offer is finished, there is never any sign of the mousses in your store. Once again, I purchased these today in Sainsbury's, together with the 1.5 kg bag of Alpen Original, which you appear not to have on your shelves any longer. When listening on the radio to Tesco spokespersons we are constantly hearing the phrase "our customers tell us this is what they want". Might I suggest that reliability is what this particular customer would like, in order not to have to make two shoppping trips instead of one. Yours, Barbara Barnes
