My wife and I ate there at their Wednesday carvery. It was our first visit since new owners took over.We found it shabby and cramped and our window table small and cold.We had to hang heavy coats over chairs as told there were no hooks. The carvery was a joke, the plates were cold, the beef so rare, only one ladle in use for all vegetables, one customer complained as she had a cheese allergy and was concerned. The young server seemed not to care,we then found on eating that the food was cold and vegetables hard.
We didnot finish our meal and mentioned facts to waiter who simply said he could have warmed it up for us.I also emailed them on return and also was treated to a torrent of rude and abusive replies telling me we should eat at McDonalds.we were too fat,we were liars and only after a free meal!We were also told we were in envy of their millionaire status and would soon be building a block of flats so didnot care what we thought.A truly lovely man.Naturally we will never eat there again nor will our many friends but then he has also barred me for daring to complain.Full email exchanges available.

The food was very expensive and not much of it. The service was not professional at all and the newly decorated decor left alot to the imagination (very poor).
I did not complain at the meal as it was my daughters birthday but did as soon as a got home. I have now received three rude e-mails back.
So much to customer satisfaction!!!!
