Furious and disappointed!! Phoned and enquired whether their scampi was wholetail as this is one of our favourite meals. The inference was that is was proper scampi and not cheap reconstituted, so duly reserved a table on this basis. Arrived for meal and whilst standing at the bar waiting to order drinks, we overhead a member of staff telling someone else that "this guy, someones partner or boyfriend had phoned this morning enquiring about the scampi and I just lied to him about the scampi" Can you imagine how shocked we were. We walked out because the management obviously have no qualms about lying to their customers about the food they serve. It completely spoilt our whole evening, especially as we rarely get a chance to dine out. Will not be going again.

It is with great thanks to the owners of the coach house, the meal we had on the above date. The meals were cooked to perfection the service was as good as the Hilton, I cannot fault the staff and if you are in the area if you req a great meal you need not go any futher.
