We hadnt realised that The Salutation Inn was open again, but as we drove past on our way home we saw the live band outside and decided to pop in for a drink to see what it was like. We werent dissapointed! We sat outside watching the band and there was such a fabulous atmosphere, which was quite obviously mainly locals having a good time, but we were welcomed and the good spirits soon rubbed off on us. After the band ahd finished we popped inside to take a look at the menu and decided to eat. The food was delicious and very reasonlbly priced. We will definately be returning soon, and would recommend trying it.

Just letting everyone know that as of October 2010 The Salutation Inn is under new ownership. Please come in and try us out. We have all new staff, so pop in for a drink, with real hand pull ales, or why not have something to eat. We have good pub food as well as something a bit different, all good value for money. We look forward to seeing you!

As village resident of many years, I am glad to see the pub thriving. I am always made to feel welcome. I hope it lasts for many years to come!
