A friendly pub with great cider and fun games. Do they still safe a stool for Fred Pratley?

Had a superb evening in this pub following recommendation from some friends in Oxford. The venison was the best I've had and the "Artisan English Cheeseboard" was stunning.

After waiting 1hr 20mins for a meal of reasonably high standard our evening was completely spoilt by the utter rudeness and arrogance of the owner/chef. There was a genuine error over our cheese order and we were accused by him of calling his waitress a liar, and told off for eating cheese that we hadn't ordered. I have never been spoken to like that in a restaurant by anybody. The only reason we chose cheese in the first place was because the desserts were a choice of two! Horrible man, completely spoilt the evening and would never return.
