Popped in for lunch yesterday and was most impressed. Ordered two ploughmans, one cheese and one ham. Ham was proper thickly carved meat and the cheese was varied and plentiful. Served with delicious hot bread and arrived incredibly quickly for a Sunday lunch-time. Well worth a visit. Thanks

A pub in traditional style with garden bordered by a shallow, clean stream. Food excellent, all staff friendly. We have now been there several times and always been pleased with the service and food.

Visited here on a quiet Friday afternoon. Had a light lunch with girlfriend outside with a pint of larger and a J2o. Fair price, good food and a lovely location. We wasted quiet a while watching the ducklets swim along the river past the pub. Will definitely visit again.

Owner seemed surly and miserable woman, female waitress assistant just as surly - male bar staff seem ok - smokey - run down - reputation certainly over rated - Brake Bros food - warmed badly
