Myself, 3 other adults and 3 children under 10 turned up at this very nice looking pub just before midday and was warmly welcomed. We ordered 1 roast Lamb dinner from the carvery menu, a Steak and Kidney pudding, a Jacket Potato with Cheese, A sirloin steak and 3 kids meals. I am a qualified chef and am very rarely impressed... But the quality and standard of the food blew my mind, especially the children's meals (Can you believe the chicken nuggets stood out. The Steak was juicy and tasty, The lamb (we was told its all free range meat and I certainly believe that) was "out of this world" and my wife finished every single bit of the "unbelievable" Steak and kidney pudding There was a something about the staff a friendliness that's not really expected. So happy and welcoming like you were a long lost relative. All in all a wonderful experience. The price was very reasonable too!! I for one will defiantly be returning... Very soon Outstanding food and service. Well done.. Well done indeed :)
