This establishment is run by a very articulate landlord. I enjoyed the traditional English cooking, as well as some good continental dishes. There was quite a variety for vegetarians too. The pub has good Hook Norton beer, and the lagers are crisp, cold, and quenching.
The landlord is quite knowledgeable about food, as he is the chef. The staff are quite pleasant, and are always available for a chat.
I thouroughly enjoyed my time there. The locals are a good laugh, and I recomend this public house to all travellers going through Newbold-on-Stour to Stratford, Warwick, or surrounding areas.
